Regional Sales Development Manager with relevant tertiary qualification and minimum 7 years’ experience in a sales leadership role managing and engaging with Executives, Senior Manager and Manager, required to implement this company’s Motor Dealer Sales strategy in the region.

Minimum requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification required
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in a sales leadership role essential
  • Extensive experience in dealing with Executive, Senior Manager and staff on managerial level required
  • Previous experience in the Motor Dealership environment highly beneficial
  • Experience and knowledge of Warranty Plans preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Meeting and exceeding company’s business development goals by implementing a Motor Dealer sales strategy in the region
  • Manage sales targets
  • Manage relationships with targeted Motor Dealers at Regional level
  • Assist Head of Sales with developing and implementing the company’s strategy
  • Grow company’s new business
  • Lead regional sales team
  • Manage resources – attracting, hiring and retaining staff
  • Planning and succession planning
  • Liaise with all stakeholders
  • Monitor dealer performance relating to volume of business, cross-selling, loss ratios etc
  • Research and implement new initiative to increase revenue
  • Recommend service and product enhancement
  • Reports and analysis relevant to the sales activity in the region
